Bio
Mr. Branson is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Hawkeye. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s legal and compliance functions. He has primary responsibility for managing the firm’s legal agreements with counterparties and for monitoring compliance by the firm with its contractual requirements. Mr. Branson has over 15 years of professional experience.
Mr. Branson joined Hawkeye in January 2010 and has held progressive roles within the firm’s Legal / Compliance group from Associate, to Vice President to Counsel. Mr. Branson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and History from Texas Christian University (magna cum laude) and his Juris Doctor degree (with honors) from The University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of PREA.
