Bio
Harjit Purewal is Senior Vice President, Accounting and Operations at Hawkeye Partners, where he is responsible for financial reporting, fund operations, and oversight of accounting, treasury, and compliance functions across the firm’s investment platforms.
Prior to joining Hawkeye, Mr. Purewal served in leadership roles as a Controller/Director at TPG, Lafayette Square, Roc Capital, New Mountain Corp. and Fortress Investment Group, where he oversaw financial reporting and operations for multiple private equity funds, public and private multi-asset credit funds.
Mr. Purewal began his career at Ernst & Young in the Global Asset Management group, focusing on the audit and advisory services across private equity funds, capital markets and other alternative investment vehicles.
Mr. Purewal received a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Seattle University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
